About my Art

"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." - Pablo Picasso -

The hypnotising rhythm of the ocean and its surface reflections, the intricate colours and patterns of tree barks

to the multitude of hidden colours in the sky and land, even on a dull day.

These are just some of the things that l capture when I paint.

Through mindfulness, I see the beauty in the natural world I often took for granted,  the smell and sounds

all stimulating my senses leaving them satiated

I am drawn to painting impressionistic and semi abstracted versions of sea and landscapes.

The sea is where I go to recharge and rejuvenate, so I capture the joy it gives me in my paintings.

When I am not near the sea, I find serenity in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, the Chilterns.

It's where I live with my family and dog and where most of my inspiration comes from.

The colours and natural forms that paint this stunning landscape is genuinely breathtaking whatever the season.

Nature's very own canvas and one that continues to captivate me daily.
